AEG is launching a new compact, multifunction oven with sous vide.
This new oven is the first compact model in AEG’s range to feature advanced sous vide technology. It works in exactly the same way as a traditional oven, with the added benefit of steam and sous vide functions.
The sous vide oven function cooks vacuumed sealed food at lower temperatures to provide optimal conditions for enhanced food results. The food is cooked gently and is never overcooked, so all flavours end up in the finished dish.
The compact sous vide oven features the same TFT touch screen display found on the full sized version for improved user interaction and ease of use when selecting its many settings.
Martin Wilson, product manager for built in hot appliances at AEG said: “It’s unbelievable what you can do with sous vide, not just in terms of versatile cooking, but it also preserves meat and fish so well.
“For years our compact range has featured steam cooking, but sous vide allows cooks to experiment with flavour and take taste to a whole new level at home.”
