Techtile has officially launched its latest Venetian inspired collection of Terrazzo tiles, the ‘Revival’ range.
Inspired by famous 15th Century tile designs, ‘Revival’ is an eye-catching porcelain reinterpretation of the traditional Terrazzo tile.
Terrazzo was a design originally discovered in Europe when Venetian workers needed a use for their discarded marble leftovers which were set into clay.
However, Techtile has decided to revamp this exciting style with the infusion of fashionable citrus colours alongside an opulent gold trim!
Announcing the new range, techtile founder, James Arkell stated “Our Revival range is inspired by the traditional fifteenth century Venetian terrazzo technique, where small fragments of coloured marble are mixed with cement for a stunning ‘stracciato’ effect.
“This modern take on the classic Italian tile is one to watch for 2017 and perfect for large contemporary commercial interior and exterior areas.”
Interior stylist, Louise Parker, added “It seems like we can’t shake 70’s mania, with terrazzo back in fashion. Seen across bathrooms and kitchens as an accent finish, adding a welcome relief to single tonal spaces.”
The Revival collection is available in 12 colours, and 4 alternative sizes, to ensure all rooms can benefit from this mesmerising design.techtile | techtilelondon.co.uk
