Stainless steel makes a comeback style statement in Caple’s latest sink collection

The simple yet sophisticated material: stainless steel has been an integral part of contemporary kitchens for decades, but thanks to recent developments in materials there’s a myriad of choice for kitchen materials and stainless steel is having to compete to keep its place in the list of top kitchen trends.

However, Caple’s latest Axle collection presents a stylish comeback of the material – reinforcing its reign in the kitchen with an attractive and practical range of sinks. The inset and under-mounted models are crafted from highest grade stainless steel and come complete with a matching colander and rustic wooden chopping board.

The sinks are available in three sizes, to suit whatever worktop space you may have available, while the accessories have been smartly designed to sit side-by-side on a small ledge over the sink, to ensure that chopping, rinsing and draining are instantly easier and avoiding engorging your valuable worktop space.

The slim stainless steel boasts hardwearing properties, temperature resistance, a cool, professional look, and the resilience that has forever marked the reputation of this marvellous material. The single bowl sinks are suitable for inset and under-mounted installation and suit a worktop or wall-mounted tap, while the 1.75 bowl is designed specifically for inset installation and comes prepared with a single tap hole. All sinks in the collection are also suited for a waste disposal system, and come with a 90mm waste kit, overflow and plumbing kit.

Caple product manager Luke Shipway says: “Beautiful, functional and affordable, our new Axle sinks will add a designer touch to any kitchen. The addition of the two coordinating accessories, which have been specially designed to fit each bowl perfectly, makes these sinks instantly more versatile and they can take centre stage in your kitchen.”
