Pronorm strengthens its design reach with a host of new products at Hausmesse

The annual German Hausmesse saw Pronorm introduce a host of new products aimed at strengthening their design reach for the mid to upper end of the market.

New Pronorm products speak for the design trend for contemporary and earthy materials in wood, stone, metal, leather and glass with several new door additions. These included Black Oak, a richly coloured wood veneer offering an understated but design dramatic look, Bronze and Oxide finishes in tactile matt texture, elegant organic glass in Arctic White, three new high gloss colours of Porcelain, Arctic White and Cubanite together with the Planero storage system in aluminium. Pictured is the new Bronze door finish, which together with Oxide, Light Concrete and Dark Concrete, reflects the design trend for earthy, industrial materials in the home. With its interplay of colours, complemented by an ultra-smooth matt texture, the door has the tactile and visual appeal of leather or burnished metal.

Jason Grinton, Business Manager for UK & Ireland says, “Bronze was probably the most talked about door finish we showed this year as it hits the fashionable design notes for earthy materials and richer colours and we’ve not had anything like this in the portfolio before. It stimulated a lot of discussion and ideas among our retailers about the different ways they would interpret this finish and bring into client schemes. That was a very positive takeaway.”
