At stand D89 we were lucky enough to be given a tour by Head of Retail Marketing and Brand, Jayne Adamson, introducing us to British Ceramic Tile’s exciting new launches for 2018, which include…
HD Distressed Wood
Without all the preparation and maintenance needed for real timber, we found HD Distressed Wood has harnessed the natural beauty of the grain in a convincing yet diverse range of tones; from earthy, organic shades of cream and beige, through to hints of pale blue. Textured and tactile, this tile comes in 15x50cm ‘planks’.
Featuring an intricate terrazzo design and added lustre effect to highlight the surface pattern, the new Conglomerate collection offers a visually interesting alternative to granite, marble and concrete. 25x50cm wall tiles co-ordinate with the darker 33x33cm floor tiles. A striking feature floor tile is also available.
With the look and feel of traditional Indian slate, Mumbai Slate features stunning colour variation and a matt riven finish that is pleasing to touch. Made from hardwearing porcelain, this tile comes in three eye-catching colourways, all with a modern large format 45x90cm slab design
This collection offers ten different effects from natural stone and terrazzo to marble and gold – all in line with the growing trend for large format surface coverings. At 35x75cm, this collection of contemporary oversized tiles features both matt and gloss finishes, and a vast selection of colours.
V&A Metro [featured]
The humble metro tile has been reinvented with V&A Metro – elongated to 15x50cm and available in five jewel tones alongside the classic white, this collection has tiles to suit any period or contemporary design. Each bevelled tile features a rich, transparent glaze that provides tonal movement.
Bringing together cutting-edge manufacturing techniques with the latest design influences for an authentic, distressed metal finish, the HD Galvanised collection creates the look of subtly rusted metal with an oxidised finish. Available in platinum white or steel grey in a 30x50cm size.
