Fresh from the Ideal Home Show, take a look at Geberit’s brand new bathroom designs…

Bathroom manufacturer, Geberit, officially launched two new bathroom product designs at this year’s Ideal Home Show – currently running at London’s Olympia stadium – making smart use of the bustling crowds and attendees from across the trade, press and consumer sectors.

The two key designs dominating attention at this year’s exhibition are: the Aquaclean Tuma Classic and the Acanto Black series. We delved behind the design of each…

Aquaclean Tuma Classic

Taking technology up a step, Geberit’s new Aquaclean Tuma Classic shower toilet blends a beautifully simple design with sophisticated technology, to give users ‘the best of both worlds’. Aesthetically designed by Christoph Behling, the new model’s streamlined, slim and Alpine White exterior discreetly stores the brand’s WhirlSpray shower technology, oscillating spray functions and a hygienic Turboflush. Personal shower sprays and temperature can be controlled via the Geberit app.

The Aquaclean Tuma is available with a rimless Rimefree ceramic pan or as an enhancement seat, which can be fitted to a variety of pre-installed pans.

Brent Hudson, Marketing and Product Director for Geberit, said: “We are delighted to introduce the AquaClean Tuma Classic to our extensive range of shower toilets. Thanks to its sleek, compact design and the latest in bathroom technology and innovation, the Tuma Classic comes with all of the benefits of a Geberit AquaClean and gives even small bathrooms enhanced aesthetic appeal, transforming them into an oasis of well-being.”

Designer Christoph Behling added: “We haven’t made any compromises when designing the AquaClean Tuma Classic model. The Tuma is simple, clear and boasts a certain elegance.”

Acanto Black series

The Acanto Black line extends the original Acanto collection, launched this April. Designers of the original collection experimented with a variety of textures, colours and materials, including glass, metal, painted and wood finishes, and from this, the Acanto Black line was born.

The furniture range – which includes interior shelving and storage options, alongside unique magnetic storage compartments – was designed to perfectly complement the slim contours and gentle curves of the Acanto bath and basins, while celebrating the current trend for stylish, black aesthetics.

Geberit’s Product Manager, Daniel Ward, said: “We are proud to introduce the trendsetting Acanto Black offering to the stylish Acanto range which creates atmosphere to the bathroom, while still being a timeless design which will suit any home. We took great care with the sophisticated Acanto Bathroom Series to give smart solutions to busy lifestyles, in line with our core ethos of design meets function.”
