Discrete and powerful extraction from Caple’s latest built-under cooker hood

Caple’s new TBU850 touch control built-under hood has been designed to provide discreet, powerful extraction to keep the air in a kitchen clean from grease whilst minimising cooking odours.

This stainless steel hood has a fold away glass panel, which, says Caple,  sets it apart from other built-under hoods on the market. Easy to operate, it has illuminated touch controls that give the cooker hood a professional look and feel.

An ideal choice for apartment living or for those that want an unobtrusive solution for open-plan kitchens, the TBU850 is integrated underneath a kitchen wall unit. An A+ energy rating makes the TBU850 an eco-friendlier choice that can help a consumer to reduce their environmental impact and their utility bills.

With four speeds, including boost, and a maximum extraction rate of 772m3/h, this high-performance extractor has an auto timer that switches off the appliance ten minutes after cooking has finished to achieve better extraction. It has a maximum sound level of 63dB and an energy-efficient, 6W LED strip light that illuminates the hob below, providing handy task lighting.

Caple product manager Luke Shipway said: “With its stylish, flip down glass panel, our new TBU850 touch control built-under hood provides powerful, unobtrusive extraction for a sleek finish and it’s a fantastic solution for smaller kitchens.”.

The TBU850 touch control built-under hood measures 850mmL by 290mmW by 350mmH and is expected to retail for around £803 including VAT.
