Location: candidate will be based anywhere between Leeds to Milton Keynes
To gain predominately new KBB retailers from qualified enquiries and to also self-generate leads.
To liaise with corporate customers as directed and to visit, within a call cycle, the existing retailers.
Maintaining existing customer base and encouraging the utilisation and sales of products and services.
Increase revenue to specific targets. Meet and/or exceed sales targets.
Deliver training as required.
Identifying geographic gaps in retailers.
Reporting to the CEO directly. Working closely with the existing office-based team.
Build and maintain long-term, productive working relationships with the retailers.
Record activity using the management system in place, to maintain up to date and accurate customer information. Develop and maintain accurate reporting.
Supporting customers with practical advice to increase their sales turnover through promoting appropriate products, POS and attending supported events.
Maintain and develop a detailed understanding of competitors.
Play a key role in organising and delivering events.
Prepare for and attend board meetings reporting successes against the target.
The role requires extensive travelling and will require overnight stays.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility will be required to meet client’s needs and deadlines.Office based on Monday, then out on appointments around the country for the rest of the week.
Kitchen market knowledge (or related/similar retail industry).
Preferable B2B sales experience.
Demonstrate high achievement/own success with practical examples
Understanding of design
Sound time and account management skills
Able to prioritise
IT literate, PowerPoint, Excel and Word including capability to use iPad and telephone technologies
A good education is essential, the role requires someone who is intelligent, can listen well, can help customer’s businesses grow and can formulate strategy to mutual benefit.
Full driving licence
Formal sales techniques training / Sales training qualification
Basic salary, circa £28,000
Bonus structure, which should allow on target earnings of a further £6,000-12,000

Plus other benefits, TBC
28 days holidays per annum including statutory holidays to start, plus holiday between Christmas and New Year (in 2017 they closed on the evening of Friday 22nd December and reopened Wednesday 3rd January – this being an extra 4 days holiday on top). Depending on longevity of service, the standard holiday entitlement rises to a maximum of 33 days including statutory holidays, plus Christmas.
