Choosing your perfect kitchen is all about finding the right style for you, and sometimes that means mixing things up a little. There’s no need to stick to a purely traditional or contemporary palette; instead, for an eclectic and timeless design, consider blending the two styles to create a truly unique scheme.
The Classic BeauxArts 0.2 kitchen, from Siematic and available from Urban Interior, does just that – cleverly combining modern stainless steel elements and traditional in-frame cabinetry. Shaker style in-frame cabinetry runs along the lower half of the wall and is finished in a sleek Sterling Grey Matt Lacquer, while modern BeauxArts display cabinets – with glass fronts and bevelled stainless steel frames – are hung above.
Running along the left-hand wall, Siematic’s ultra-contemporary framed stainless steel drawers transport this otherwise traditional scheme into the 21st century. Corresponding linear handles and Carrera marble StoneDesign worktops tie the two cabinetry runs together, to craft a cohesive kitchen scheme.
The featured drawers and pull-out interiors are fitted with Siematic’s innovative MultiMatic system; this flexible interior storage system is available in an array of materials and finishes, to suit whichever style and look you like.
Dieter Berends, Senior Designer at Urban Interior commented: “Steel finishes partnered with a backdrop of traditional shaker style cabinetry is great for creating a transitional kitchen design that balances contrasting styles. I would say this eclectic mix of styles has finally shown that appliances don’t need to be the only things that create flair and pizzazz in a kitchen.”Urban Interior | urbaninterior.co.uk
