Scavolini has been producing kitchens for nearly 60 years. From a small workshop the company has grown to major industrial status, pursuing its growth aims through all the necessary stages with toughness and determination, with absolute respect for the public at large, and in harmony with the needs of its surrounding area. But how?

In a small workshop, Scavolini launched its business in Pesaro in 1961 with a small range of fitted kitchens, which immediately proved very popular. This was the start of the joint venture of the brothers Valter and Elvino Scavolini who, encouraged by their initial success, quickly expanded their premises.
Expanding output required major changes: Scavolini consolidated its distribution network and reinforced its sales network, adopted more and more cutting-edge technologies, and started to work with specialist designers for the first time. The company’s turnover and visibility increased in 1975 with its first nationwide advertising campaign and, in the world of sport, the sponsorship of a promising Pesaro-based basketball team.
