We take a look at some of the hottest range cookers on the market

The range cooker remains at the very top of the wishlist for many consumers. With an ever-wider offering of sizes, features and colours, it is a products category that is becoming a more practical choice than ever. Here are a few of our top picks…

AGA – AGA introduced the Dartmouth Blue colour to its range cookers at the start of this year and it is available across the AGA 60, Dual Contol and (pictured) Total Control models.

Caple – Caple’s new dual fuel, CR9109 single cavity range cooker provides a 103-litre capacity and five-burner gas hob. Stainless steel side panels and the large storage drawer complement the black glass door, which is triple-glazed with heat reflective glass, and black-spot feature bar handles. The cooker also has an easy-clean enamel interior, removable inner glass door and is available with self-cleaning catalytic liners.

Hoover – Hoover’s HGD 9395IV 90cm duel fuel twin cavity range cooker features a 51-litre capacity multifunction oven, a smaller (35-litre capacity) conventional oven, and a 5-burner gas hob which includes a triple crown wok burner.

Miele – The Miele HR1956 G Range Cooker features M Touch controls and a motorised fascia for simple navigation at the swipe or scroll of a finger. The top has seven gas burners including a griddle and wok ring for quickly searing meats, charring vegetables and cooking pancakes. Underneath, the cooker offers a plethora of different options, including a standard oven, microwave oven and a gourmet warming drawer. The large 85L oven provides a versatile range of cooking programmes including intensive bake, a choice of grilling options, crisp function and fan plus, which is ideal for baking and roasting on different levels at the same time.

Bertazzoni – Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series 100cm six-burner electric triple oven features six cooking zones, six gas zones and 11 oven functions. The range is available in matt black, burgundy, and cream colourways.

Bradshaw Luxury – Steel Oxford cooker in Le Creuset colourways, available from Bradshaw Luxury. The range can be selected in a choice of either five gas burners or an induction hob and is also available with a matching 90cm or 100cm cooker hood.

The cooker also features an integrated grill as standard, and a three-zone induction hob can be requested in place of one of the hot plates.
