We speak to VP of Marketing, Jonathan Stanley, about Caesarstone’s latest collection

Caesarstone’s new selection of worktop materials includes the Rugged Concrete design (as shown). The intention behind the new look was to create a concrete- look worktop that offered more than one at colour. Jonathan Stanley, VP
of Marketing, Caesarstone UK, said:
“We wanted our new material to have
the right mix of colours, along with an authentic texture. The feel of it was just as important as the look.” The team were initially inspired by a watercolour painting of the moon’s surface, “the painting really captured the rugged nature of the moon’s surface. The mix of whites, greys and blacks was so subtle. It really informed our thinking with Rugged Concrete 4033 and helped set the benchmark for what we wanted to achieve.”

Adding a subtle metallic element helped enliven the industrial colour, while, practically, the quartz is still resistant to both scratches and stains.
