Scandinavian Chic or Tastefully Tuscan?: Stosa Cucine unveil their unusual take on an Italian Kitchen

Despite its vaguely Scandinavian aesthetic, the Mood kitchen is an Italian creation made by Tuscany-based manufacturer Stosa Cucine.

First presented at Eurocucina in Milan earlier this year, the design is by Adriani & Rossi and is based around the elm wood veneered door with solid elm wood interior. The door is also engraved to create a recessed handle in natural finishes.

Wall units include an extra-wide horizontal glass door, made with a single 240cm long piece in order to neatly hide the different inside units, including the extractor fan.

Mood is available with wall units in matt white lacquered finishes, matching with the base units in white lacquered elm wood finish. Elm wood is the main Mood feature, also available for the worktop with a thickness of 6cm. To help maintain the clean lines, the design also incorporates retractable push and pull power sockets.
