These pared back kitchens present raw, edgy and eclectic schemes that celebrate the industrial style

The modern ‘Frame’ kitchen from Snaidero was designed by award-winning Italian architect, Massimo Iosa Ghini, and includes industrial and classical influences. The metallic frame structure that hosts the extractor hood is the focal point of the kitchen – the stainless steel modular elements and their shelves were designed using simple welding and brushing processes, leaving the elements nude, with no final coating. Combined with cabinetry in Vintage White matt lacquer and surfaces in a granite Coffee Brown. Price on request.

The Bellagio kitchen from Aran Cucine uses durable materials which defy the signs of ageing. In an Anthracite Grey finish, with Marmo
di Carrara countertops and vintage stainless steel surfaces, the harsher materials are complemented by wooden cabinetry and a large solid wood cutting board. Price on request.

The understated but sophisticated kitchen from The Symphony Group (symphony-group.co.uk) uses hard lines, worn finishes and statement pieces for an unfinished raw look. It incorporates industrial elements to add character and features cabinetry in Olive and Stone from the Laura Ashley Kitchen Collection’s Richmond range. From £350 for a 600mm base unit.
