Karim Rashid showcases colourful new tile range for luxury Italian designer bathroom

The bold installation of a striking tile range designed by Karim Rashid is the colourful bathroom showpiece of a luxury Italian home.

The Capri House is a project on the Italian island of Capri by Studio Della Rocca Architecture. The 120 sq m residence formerly belonged to 1940s actress and singer Dame Gracie Fields, and was completely renovated earlier this year.

The star attractions are the bathroom walls which are decked out with tiles from the Karim Rashid Collection for Mosaico Digitale. Available in 12 patterns – all typical of the New York-based global designer’s ‘technorganic’ style – they are made of lightweight resin rather than ceramic, making them versatile for a wide range of uses indoors, outdoors, or for wet areas including pools.

The shape and size of the tiles can also be customised to suit any project.
