Demonstrated for the first time at CES 2018, the miniature Tetra dishwasher washes up to two place settings in 10 minutes, using only half a gallon of water. It’s an ideal solution for low-occupancy households and new parents who find themselves constantly sanitizing baby bottles. Interestingly, it can even be used to cook food in sous vide style.
The model requires filling with water and detergent by hand, before stacking with dirty crockery – using the interchangeable rubber organizers – then a short 10 minutes later, users can simply drain the dirty water and remove their newly clean items. Operable via smart technology, the device itself can be run from a smartphone app and requires only a standard electrical outlet. Alongside the Tetra, Heatworks have introduced their MODEL 3 water heater, with an amazing 99% energy efficiency. The same efficient Ohmic Array Technology found in the MODEL 3 also exists within the Tetra.
“We founded Heatworks when we realized the water heater we needed didn’t exist,” said Heatworks Founder and CEO, Jerry Callahan. “With Tetra, the same situation existed.”
The Tetra plans to be on the market by the end of this year.
