Grow your own…the herb gardens that will enhance your kitchen’s sensory effect

Growing your own is all the rage so why not bring the scent of herbs into your kitchen? From fresh salad leaves in terracotta pots displayed on wire shelving or herb troughs set into marble worktops to ingenious pendant lights that incorporate edible hanging gardens — add that just-picked taste to your meals throughout the year…

Our favourites are basil for the scent and flavour, chives great with soft cheese, and nasturtiums for a mass of tumbling edible peppery leaves with vibrant orange and scarlet flowers – they look great tossed in salad!
