The 15th annual Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards takes place this month at the new venue of the Bloomsbury Big Top in Coram’s Fields, London. It promises to elevate an event that is already the highlight of the K&B calendar to new heights in its striking new space.
While the location may be different, the high esteem in which these industry honours are held remains very much the same. Categories cover the full range of projects within kitchen and bathroom design, from the lower-end budgets to the ultimate luxury projects with a considerably larger spend at stake. As well as the kitchen and bathroom design of the year categories, there are also honours for Best Use of Materials, New Designer of the Year, and British Design and Manufacturing. One award will be leaving British shores too, taken home by the winner of our International Design of the Year category.
Manufacturers will also be recognised for the most impressive products to have launched within the industry over the past year or so, with a series of Gold Awards being presented for excellence and innovation in kitchens, bathrooms, technology, materials and sustainability among others.
Martin Allen-Smith, Editor of Designer Kitchen & Bathroom magazine, said: “The awards are the highlight of the year for so many people involved in kitchen and bathroom design. The designers who have made it through to the final stage of what has been another tough judging process should be extremely proud of their achievement. We can’t wait to reveal the winners of these categories, as well as the Product Innovation Awards, later this month.”Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Magazine | kb-eye.com/designer
