Celebrate spring in style with a pretty pastel kitchen scheme – here are four of our favourites…

Spring is in the air (somewhere!), meaning there is no better time to embrace one of 2018’s hot home décor trends, pastels. A pastel kitchen can work wonders – not only will the subtle shades help your space feel bright and fresh, but their sweet, summery nature will make it seem like spring all year round. Here are four of our favourite schemes to give you a little inspiration…

Top left: The CRL Quartz Knightsbridge from CRL Stone, which is scratch, heat and stain resistant, is designed to emulate the look of marble with subtle grey veining and complements beautifully the subtle pastel and neutral tones of the cabinetry and appliances.

Top right: Put some spring zing in your kitchen with this Pastel Yellow satin and neutral Grey Matt colour combo, featuring Biella and Uni Matt fronts from the 2018 Schüller C collection.

Bottom right: Available in a choice of 25 colours, including the new Vibrant Colour Palette, Hampton from Masterclass Kitchens is a ‘flat slab’ painted door with a tactile and super-smooth silk finish. It is shown here in Vintage Rose, which is a bold enough pastel to form a striking contrast with on-trend shades such as grey and white.

Bottom left: This Chalet range kitchen from Rational has framed Shaker-style doors finished in a soft lacquer, Green Tea colourway. The island unit incorporates open end shelving units with back panels that can be created in any colour or finish to complement the kitchen. Continuing with the classic country style theme, there is a choice of handles including soft leather and antiqued metal.
