Bright, bold and vivacious – colour is the new craze that is coming back to the kitchen

Quick on the heels of our love affair with ‘greenery’ and the obsession with ‘millennial pink’ that took the interior design world by storm, the new craze for colour doesn’t differentiate. Pink, blues, greens, yellows and reds, the new colour craze is bold, brave and beautiful.

Whether it’s a whole kitchen in a bold and bright colour or appliances, cabinets, or even just an island giving pops of vibrant colour to your space, colour in the kitchen is big news right now.

“Colours are hot news on the kitchen catwalk – from soft pastel-inspired Vintage Rose to deep and meaningful Mulberry – teamed with a grey or white colour palette it is a shade that works in any setting,” said Steve Tough, Commercial Director at Masterclass Kitchens. “Blending feminine style with cutting-edge design, pink and purple are the perfect hues for creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone can feel at home.”

Pushing neutrals firmly to the back of the queue when it comes to kitchen design, colour in the kitchen.

Combined with a glass finish on the cabinetry and pitch black island, it’s a perfect example of using bright colours in a subtle way that won’t overwhelm your space but still makes a colour statement.
