Proving again the prominence of ‘wellness’ as a topic at this year’s International Bathroom Exhibition, Gessi has given a sneak peek into its multifaceted wellness-focussed stand.
Comprised of three key aspects: Private Wellness, Architectural Wellness and the David Rockwell for Gessi collection, the stand is sure to draw attention from visitors to the 2018 exhibition. Here’s a quick preview of each sector:
Gessi’s Private Wellness products balance the brand’s iconic Italian flair with high-tech spa-like functionality. The company’s sensual shower products boast a modular format, which allows each user to totally customise their showering experience – combining elements, such as the hydro-massage, rain, waterfall and atomization shower elements to craft the ideal experience.
Combining these clever water effects with impressive lighting functions, allows the Private Wellness Program showers to succeed in providing both hydro- and chromo-therapeutic effects. These effects are exemplified in the Afìlo shower system, which is available in both built-in and exposed versions. Light emission has been painstakingly studied to maximize its effect in the Afìlo system, eventuating in a design that employs a thin steel outer crater and inclined inner walls that enhance the diffusion of light.
Gessi’s Architectural Wellness® brings design, customization and ‘5 sense wellness’ functions to a new level. The Binario System, within the new program, supports ceiling installation of several ‘rails’ similar to those used in the lighting industry. In these locations – customizable in number, length and shape – the user can place modules with different functions: waterfall, atomization, rainfall, lighting or sound.
The functional lighting systems were a joint development by both Gessi and Artemide – adding yet another string to their collaborative bow – and can even be extended beyond the shower area, to craft architectural compositions and provide effective lighting solutions for the whole room.
The David Rockwell collection
To meet current consumer demands for ‘authenticity’, with products that exude a feeling of reliability, true depth, and quality, Gessi has worked in collaboration with renowned designer, David Rockwell to craft a line of brassware and accessories that embody the skilful specifics of ‘old era brassware’, while maintaining a fresh and contemporary aesthetic – hence the Inciso collection was born.
Each individually crafted from solid brass, and available in a variety of finishes, including black, nickel and bronze, Inciso products can be easily customised and bought to life by mixing different texture inserts and finishes.
To see more of Gessi’s extraordinary products, head to the brand’s stand during Salone del Mobile’s International Bathroom Exhibition, 17th – 22nd April 2018.
