Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, the two creative masterminds behind Laufen’s Kartell collection, will present an engaging conceptual exercise on washbasins during the International Bathroom Exhibition.
Focussing on an evocative ‘East meets West’ theme, Laufen’s presence at the International Bathroom Exhibition will be marked by a large vivid orange box – that aims to arouse an art-gallery-like atmosphere – as opposed to a traditional stand. Within the mysterious box, situated at stand F21-G14, the company will conduct a conceptual exercise that its describes as a ‘study of simple and traditional forms…with new and amusing silhouettes’ to encourage guests to reinterpret not only the functionality of bathroom features but their emotional impact, also.
The brand’s stand will also highlight the impeccable aesthetics and impressive capabilities of Laufen’s ceramic SaphirKeramik material, which was used to craft the Kartell collection and, thanks to its durable nature, provides the range with its iconic thin edges and light, visually pleasing bodies.
