Trends in the design industry are increasingly involving the outdoors as a natural extension of the indoors; with large floor-to-ceiling windows, flooring which runs through from interior to exterior, and broken architectural barriers. Hence the popularity of outdoor kitchens – not just as simple barbecue stations, but as major multi-accessorised facilities – has soared.
Abimis has caught onto this trend in recent years, and now it’s been made an integral part of the company’s exhibition at Eurocucina. First and foremost, AISI 316 stainless steel will be prevalent at their stand. This valuable ‘super alloy’ is resistant to water, sudden temperature changes, and atmospheric agents. It’s also recommended for use in salty air or chlorine-rich environments.
The Abimis outdoor kitchens on display can be customised in every detail, starting with the composition and accessories, through to the height and depth of the worktop, and the recessed plinth, or the type of household appliances to equip it with; grills, hotplates, refrigerators, fryers, etc. The finishes can also be customised with paints and other materials, treated to guarantee safety, durability and resistance, even when subjected to the elements.
