Your kb-eye guide to the Grand Designs Live exhibition at the ExCeL, London, 5th–13th May 2018

Based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live will be packed with over 400 exhibitors, across five different sections.

For kitchen and bathroom enthusiasts, kb-eye has identified the four sections of greatest interest, the three features that are most likely to excite, and the top ten exhibitors to see…

What’s of interest?

Grand Interiors will be a great introduction to the show. Browse hundreds of items and brands not readily available on the high street, including Long Island Shutters, Lightstyle, Fantasia Ceiling Fans, bio-fireplaces from Planika, and handmade lighting from Fraser Besant Lighting.

Your next stop could be Grand Kitchens, including some of the most cutting-edge kitchens and appliances on the market from the likes of Bora, Tomas Kitchen Living, Laz Furniture and Koivu. From fitted to freestanding, design to storage, visitors will find solutions to help make the most of their space; along with the finishing touches that are essential to any kitchen.

Grand Bathrooms will showcase products from brands such as Motionspot who produce aesthetically-led accessible bathroom designs for the home; alongside Boutique Design & Build, who will be showing Crosswater’s latest release; Union.

If you still have time, stop by Grand Gardens and look for the area dedicated to outdoor kitchens.

Three Exciting Features:

Keep your eyes peeled for the The Lavatory Project. This new feature will include mock-ups from six competition-winning interior designers who’ve let their imaginations run wild to create the most unique and striking bathrooms, found in the Grand Kitchens section.

Ask An Expert – This popular feature offers visitors the opportunity to consult with specialists across a range of home-improvement areas, from finance to self-build and everything in-between. The kitchen design specialists can be viewed here.

If you still have time, try your luck at The Salvage Yard, where you might find a high-end, one off, unique piece of architectural salvage to define your kitchen or bathroom designs.
