Focusing on the company’s ‘thinking ahead’ philosophy, Hafele’s stand this year took us to the technological future of the kitchen.
The multi-faceted stand is broken into six key zones, including dedicated areas for the Grass brand, the Vauth Sagel brand and a specified lighting zone. Each zone immerses visitors in an array of impressive and innovative products, including appliances from Rangemaster, GROHE, Perrin & Rowe and, one of our personal favourites, the Ninka Qanto corner solution. The Ninka model is a complete pre-assembled storage solution, that truly transforms the use of corner space. At the touch of a button, the entire product will carefully rise from the worktop, revealing up to three storage trays equipped to hold a mass amount of pots, pans, utensil or cans, before steadily lowering again into the cabinetry, when no longer required.
Also on display at Hafele’s S90 stand is the brand’s impressive new pendant lighting designs, and the newly-extended range of ‘Loox’ cabinet lighting. Alongside this selection sat Hafele’s decorative hardware range, including the stunning new Odessa and Augusta designs. We spoke to one of Hafele’s development and product experts about the company’s new hardware collection, and the trends they’ve been concentrating on: “The most important trends for us have been the introduction of the brushed brass, the industrial-style handle designs and the graphite and antique copper finishes. However, our newly-launched timber handles have also been very well received; inspired by Scandinavian designs, they border the Hygge and Wabi-Sabi styles, and will work well in both contemporary and traditional kitchens.”
