This month will see Chelsea Design Quarter host its inaugural Springtime Session, in partnership with the BIID. The three-day symposium is comprised of a series of design and trend-led talks and events, running from 24th – 26th April 2018.
Here’s the full rundown of events:
Tuesday 24th April
10am – 12pm
BAGNODESIGN will host its ‘How to get your posts featured in a magazine’ talk, led by editor, Lindsay Blair.
4pm – 5.30pm
Guinevere will be hosting a conversation between Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Gabby Deeming, Decoration Director at House & Garden. The pair will explore the inspiration behind his interior design projects and the recent collaboration with Cole & Son. A Q&A will follow, and guests are invited to stay and view the new Guinevere wallpaper designs.
6pm – 9pm
Q&A held by the Rug Company with Christopher Kane and Christopher Sharpe.
Wednesday 25th April
10am – 12pm
The Camberyard Collective Spring Brunch will orbit a theme of ‘What do you need to know to design and specify a kitchen’. The roundtable and Q&A event will be with interior designer at Prinul Polesssi Patel, Emma Hooton, Made in Chiswick and Rebecca Weir from Light IQ at Waterworks showroom.
12pm – 2pm (with lunch)
‘Bathroom Design Trends – Colours, Lighting and Products’ talk hosted by John Cullen Lighting, Drummonds, Reed Harris and Designed by Woulfe, at the John Cullen Lighting showroom.
2.30pm – 4pm (with afternoon tea)
Tatiana Tafur Event exploring ‘Traditional and Contemporary Chinoiserie’ with Peter Gorman of Gorman Studios and Tatiana Howard.
6pm – 8pm
George Smith ‘On the Sofa with Soho House’ with Linda Boronkay, Creative Director of Soho House, and hosted by Grant Pierrus.
Thursday 26th April

Bathroom Space of the Future CPD Presentation and Guided Tour of the Roca London Gallery.
12.30pm – 2.30pm
‘Wallcoverings: Performance considerations for interior designers and specifiers’ at the Muraspec/Fardis showroom.
3pm – 5pm
Garden installation workshop with the Bert & May team.

‘Love it or hate it: Instagram for interiors’ conversation, between Tom Faulkner, Deirdre Dyson and Maurizio Pellizzoni and moderated by Barbara Chandler, at the Tom Faulkner showroom.
