Domus Clerkenwell hosts surface-savvy pop-up installation, featuring seven new Casamood collections

To successfully showcase Casa Dolce Casa’s seven new surface collections, Domus is playing host to the design-led Casamood installation. For one month, leading toward Clekernwell Design Week, the main area of the Domus’ Clerkenwell showroom will be overrun with inspiring room sets that artistically showcase the new ranges, in an eclectic range of styles.

Casamood offers a variety of surface designs, each of which are crafted from solid porcelain but cleverly reflect the aesthetics of marble, concrete or stone. The surfaces are also available in a variety of sizes, finishes and thickness options – offering full flexibility for each and every project.

The full Casamood collection is comprised of:

Artwork + Slim – Putting an experimental twist on traditional Terazzo, the Artwork + Slim tiles ‘deconstructed its appeal and reassembled it in vibrant and modern aesthetics’, equating to a series of bright and beautiful new surfaces. The Artwork + Slim tiles are available in 19 colours, ranging from light, fresh greens to rich reds and deep blue-black hues, alongside three different finishes: matt, glossy and anti-slip.

Ashlar – Available in range of nine colours, three finishes, six separate sizes and a variety of four striking mosaics, the Ashlar surfaces present a unique array of aesthetics. Though crafted from solid porcelain, thanks to advanced printing techniques, each style reflects a sought-after stone aesthetic.

Calcite – Taking nature’s finest Limestones, the Calcite collection transforms them (using modern porcelain technology) into durable, high-performance materials for all environments. Mottled in texture, the Calcite collection boasts a range of nature-inspired, neutral finishes.

Cambrian – Paying homage to the beauty of natural quarried stone, the porcelain Cambrian range is available in five colours, a trio of finishes, six size options and a variety of three differing mosaics. The modern ‘mosaics’ appear akin in size and shape to metro tiles and work particularly well in the Muretto Sfalsato finish.

Earthen – Rustic yet precisely-made, the Earthen tiles boast beautiful textural finishes and a range of four contemporary colour finishes.

Urban Style + Slim – Appearing akin to weathered metal, the DCUT 04 matt tile in the Urban Style + Slim range would work perfectly within any contemporary industrial-inspired scheme. The porcelain reproductions are available in four colours, two finishes, and nine separate sizes.

Studios + Slim – Reflecting the trend for cement-inspired aesthetics, this raw and edgy range can work for walls or floors and is available in a huge selection of ten different sizes.

The Casamood installation will be on show at Domus’ Clerkenwell showroom until 7th May 2018 – drop in to see more of Casa Dolce Casa’s latest stylish surface designs!
