Surface specialist, Cosentino Group, is celebrating yet another successful year at KBIS 2018.
A key event in the kitchen and bathroom industry, KBIS, was held this year from 9th – 11th January, and hosted over 80,000 design and construction professionals from the world over. Cosentino’s exhibition stand stood at 325 m sq and showcased a striking array of Dekton and Silestone surfaces.
Making its global debut, DeKauri – the latest collaboration between Cosentino, designer Daniel Germani and Italian furniture manufacturer, Riva 1920 – took pride of place in the brand’s booth, and won silver in the ‘Best of Bath’ category of the ‘Best of KBIS 2018’ awards. DeKauri is a freestanding enclosed bathroom vanity unit, that contains a basin made of Dekton and features a frame crafted from ancient 50,000-year-old Kauri wood. The Cosentino Eternal collection, ASA-D2 outdoor kitchen, made with Dekton by Cosentino and Dekton Industrial collection also turned heads at the prestigious event. While the company itself participated as sponsors in the KBIS Bash, and Dekton designer, Daniel Germani took part in the Designer Discussion Forum.
“KBIS is really the high point of the year for the kitchen and bath industry,” said Massimo Ballucchi, Director of Marketing, Cosentino North America. “We’re honoured to have been a part of the show this year, we’re delighted to have presented an impressive selection of products that display the best in design and performance.”
