The Watermark Collection’s Brooklyn mixer adds a rustic edge to this clean, contemporary scheme

Many homeowners want to opt for a clean, contemporary scheme that will be attractive, functional and timeless, but there’s no reason not to inject a little excitement into the space.

This crisp white kitchen design was created as part of a complete renovation project led by Rise Design Studio that saw an uninhabitable North London house totally transformed into a bright, modern home. A sizeable extension added to the ground floor allowed the team to craft this spacious kitchen and dining area, which flows directly out in to the garden. In addition to the large island, integrated appliances and eclectic accessories, The Watermark Collection’s Brooklyn deck mounted basin mixer was used to enliven the space. Its brushed brass finish exudes a certain rustic charm and adds warmth the white surroundings, while the mid-century gate valve-inspired handles add a striking industrial edge to this clean scheme.

The Watermark Collection’s Brooklyn mixers are handmade in their namesake city Brooklyn, New York; they are crafted from precisely machined solid brass and are available in 15 different finishes, including polished nickel, oiled bronze and brushed bras (as shown).
