Laufen gives the bathrooms of this luxury Shoreditch hotel the Midas touch

Prior to opening its doors on the 1st July this year, the Nobu Hotel, Shoreditch, turned to Laufen to transform the bathrooms of its 141 guest rooms and seven lavish suites. The hotel is located just off Shoreditch’s Great Eastern Street, London, and marks one of the first European hotels from the internationally renowned Nobu brand.

For the creation of these stunning suites, Laufen took inspiration from the hotel’s overarching ‘East meets West’ theme, which was expertly brought to life by the designer at Studio Mica, and runs through the heart of the Nobu brand. Each room boasts a multi-dimensional design layered in luxury; with black joinery, exposed concrete structures and soft fabrics that are dramatically juxtaposed by Laufen’s bright, white and beautiful bathrooms.

The bathrooms themselves feature a walk-in rain shower, WC and the company’s Living basin in a bespoke gold metallic finish. The basin definitely stands as the centre piece for the room and represents the glorious colours, luxury designs and materials that are synonymous with Eastern design. This eclectic mix of styles is perfectly suited to its London setting – where eclecticism, individuality and contemporary style reign supreme.
